Your guide will share the history of every place you visit, prepare to be immersed in the Inca culture.

After pickup from your hotel in Cusco (morning at 8:00 am or afternoon at 2:00 pm, depending on the option booked), begin your Cusco City Tour with a visit to the famous Qorikancha, located just a few blocks from the Main Square. This remarkable temple was one of the most important religious centers of the Inca Empire. Here you will admire the impressive Inca stonework and visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, a fascinating example of the fusion between Inca and Spanish colonial architecture.

Next, you will go by van to the impressive archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán, one of the most iconic Inca sites near Cusco. Be amazed by the massive stone walls, some weighing more than 300 tons, perfectly fitted together. From here, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Cusco city.

The tour then continues to Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial site known for its carved rock formations, underground passages, and mysterious chambers believed to have been used for religious rituals honoring Pachamama (Mother Earth).

After a short drive, visit Puka Pukara, also known as the “Red Fortress.” This small military outpost once served as a control point protecting the entrance to the Inca capital. Take some time to enjoy the views and capture photos. Nearby, you will also have the opportunity to visit a local family who will demonstrate traditional Andean weaving techniques and offer handmade textiles and souvenirs.

Finally, continue to Tambomachay, often called the “Temple of Water.” This beautiful site features a series of aqueducts, canals, and fountains associated with water worship, fertility, and purification rituals in Inca culture.

At the end of the tour, return to Cusco city. The morning tour finishes around 2:00 pm, while the afternoon option ends around 7:00 pm, with drop-off near the historic center.
