On this half-day tour, you’ll visit the impressive archaeological complexes of Tipón and Pikillaqta. You’ll also explore the charming of Andahuaylillas. All this on a leisurely trip from Cusco, ideal for those seeking culture, architecture, and nature all in one day.

The trip begins with a pickup between 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. from your hotel or a nearby meeting point. The group will then head to the first stop in Tipón, where you will visit a photographic gallery that tells the story of the discovery of Machu Picchu. Here, you will also have the opportunity to sample delicious homemade empanadas.
Afterward, you will continue to the Tipón archaeological complex, renowned for its impressive Inca hydraulic systems. The guide will provide a detailed explanation, and you will have time to explore the site.
The tour then proceeds to Oropesa, famous for its traditional breads, where you will enjoy a brief tasting. Next, you will visit Pikillaqta, an ancient pre-Inca city of the Wari culture, where you will learn more about its history and architecture.
Later, you will visit the Andahuaylillas church, known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas” for its stunning colonial art.
At the end of the tour, they will pass through Saylla, where those who wish can have lunch and try the area’s famous chicharrón (fried pork rinds). Finally, the tour concludes with the return to Cusco, arriving approximately between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., near the main square.
