  • INCLUDES

You will be picked up in your hotel at approximately 8:00am and, after picking up any additional people in your group, you will begin the 40 minute drive to the town of Pisac in the Sacred Valley.

Pisac Market & Archaeological Site:
Located in the colonial area of Pisac is its famous market. You will have approximately 45 minutes to visit the market – we recommend bringing along money to purchase unique, handmade souvenirs and gifts. After visiting the market (or before, depending on your guide) the bus will bring you up the hills above the town of Pisac to visit the famous archaeological site.
You can buy your tourist ticket here that you will need for the rest of the day.

After finishing in Pisac your group will begin the journey through the Sacred Valley, the next stop being for lunch in the town of Urubamba.
Buffet Lunch In Urubamba.

Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site:
After lunch the journey continues along the valley to Ollantaytambo. Founded by the Inca Ollanta on the banks of the Urubamba River, Ollantaytambo is a fort built into the mountain with Andean terraces and also a traditional town. At the top of the ruins we find the Sun Temple, constructed of large blocks that have remained intact for centuries in spite of the effects of time and weather. It is possible to stay in Ollantaytambo to take the train directly to Aguas Calientes and spend the night there to visit Machu Picchu the following day, ask us about our “Sacred Machu Picchu” 2 day by train to Machu Picchu tour!
Chinchero Excursion

Heading on from Ollantaytambo the bus will return via Urubamba and then head up and out of the valley to the highlands above where you will make a final stop in the town of Chinchero.

Chinchero Archaeological Site:
Is a famous for its church with painted murals and its traditional market which is famous for their handmade textiles and weavings. After visiting the church and market you will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00pm.
