Apukunaq Tianan or Abode of the Gods

Colossal work. Artist Michael Monteagudo carved gigantic sculptures of Andean gods and figures in the rocks of a mountain. Located in the Poroy, Sencca town 30 minutes from the city of Cusco. You will be able to appreciate a temple dedicated to the deities of ancient Peru. A giant work of art molded into a mountain by sculptor artist Michael Monteagudo Mejía. The place was chosen by the sculptor, who unleashed his creativity and a dream that has persisted in his mind since he was a child.

CUSCO - TICA TICA -  SENCCA – APUKUNAQ TIANAN

  • Pick up at your hostel.
  • Let's go to Tica tica for about 20 minutes in our tranport.
  • Receive the information to drive quadbike.
  • Enjoy to drive quadbike to Apukunaq Tianan.
  • Take pictures and enjoy the visit to The Abode of the Gods.
  • Come back by quadbike to Tica tica.
  • Return to Cusco in our transport.

CUSCO - TICA TICA -  SENCCA – APUKUNAQ TIANAN

We start our adventure with the pick up of all our passengers at the time you have chosen. You just have to wait for our guide at reception until he asks for your designated names.

Then we go in our transport for 20 minutes until we reach Tica tica, where you will receive an informative talk to be able to use the ATVs properly. Then we continue our journey for approximately 2 hours in the round trip ATVs, we visit the Abode of the Gods and we can enjoy contemporary art. They can take photos after we return to the base to leave the ATVs. We take our transportation back to Cusco.
