Machu Picchu Tour 2 Days 1 Night With Panoramic Train

Day 1: Cusco – Train Station – Aguas Calientes

After picking you up from your home in Cusco and being transported to the train station in the morning, you will go by train to Aguas Calientes for approximately 3 hours. During your journey, you will observe the panoramic views of the Sacred valley and mountain ranges and the beautiful scenery along the way, taking pictures and enjoying exceptional service on the train. When you arrive at Aguas Calientes, the transfer will be waiting there to take you to your hotel.

After settling into the hotel and leaving your belongings, you will have free time in the afternoon. You may go on a walk of about 1 hour to the falls of Mandor (10 soles) where you can see orchids, and if you are lucky, also some animals; or enjoy the thermal baths (10 soles entrance) only 10 minutes walk from the Village.

At night your tour guide will meet you at the hotel; to explain Machu Picchu day.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Archaeological Site – Cusco

This day you will start early in the morning. You will have breakfast in the hotel; then you will take the breath-taking bus ride up from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. It takes 30 minutes approximately. It is recommended that you go up by bus to conserve your energy to explore Machu Picchu Citadel. When you arrive at Machu Picchu, your group will have a private tour in the Sanctuary for 2 hours with your tour guide; He will explain and share knowledge of the history and the construction and show you the most important places in this magical place.

After finishing the tour with the guide, you will have more time to explore the area. If you booked to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, you would start to go up and discover a beautiful also different view of Machu Picchu.

Later, in the afternoon, you will go down by bus in time to board the train back to Cusco.

Then you take the train for around 3 hours to Cusco, where the transfer will be waiting to meet you and take you to your Hotel in Cusco.
